My dissertation topic

My dissertation topic is something to do with the impact of Barack Obama's presidential campaign events on the international consciousness.

This will incorporate the media's reporting on / of events - as this is an integral part of how audiances recieve information about international / foreign events.

This dissertation subject will fill a gap in the literature, as there is not yet much academic research about the 2009 presidential election of Barack Obama. I will therefore conduct more firsthand research - interviews, questionnaires - as well as look to media reporting (newspapers, magazines, etc.) for information. I can also accumulate information from books on the subject more generally.
